Prerequisites
Sadhana Intensive is open to Sivananda Yoga Teachers’ Training Course graduates (TTC/ATTC) only. Good physical and mental health as well as a high degree of self-motivation are required due to the very intensive nature of the course. It requires some preparation from the student. Interested students are advised to prepare by following a regular daily hatha yoga practice and a sattvic lifestyle.
While each person’s journey was unique, common themes emerged—emotional release, mental clarity, and positive energy. By the end, my mind felt empty, solitude became a sacred source of strength, and my personal practice flowed effortlessly, bringing deep inner peace and renewal. I am deeply grateful for my teachers, the course organizers, and my fellow students for this life-changing experience.

Sadhana Intensive is an amazing journey for yourself, by yourself , but you also feel the presence and support of the ashram, teachers, and other students, who give you the power to keep going when the practice is hard. I strongly recommend the course to everyone interested in going deep inside--you will find your reservoir of peace and bliss.

The study of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika text brings a better understanding and clarity to our practice. I felt transformed each time I did a sadhana, so energized and with a balanced mind afterwards! With gratitude…
